SLS Free Toothpaste

Do you experience frequent mouth ulcers? Do your gums bleed when you brush your teeth? Does your mouth stink incessantly? Have you ever wondered whether there is a common denominator to these problems? That common denominator is toxic sulfates, SLS and SLES, present in your toothpaste. Is there a remedy which would prevent the above from occurring? The answer is yes. By using SLS free toothpaste, you will experience a sea-change, and will definitely be rid off them.

Why does sulfate based toothpaste cause problems in your mouth? Well, sulfates are chemicals which remove oil stains from vehicles. For that matter, sulfates are also used in most cosmetic products to remove oil and also produce lather. But under the pretext of doing so, it also harms the surface it acts upon. For hard, inanimate metal surfaces like vehicles, it hardly makes a difference, but if the surface in question is your skin, hair or mouth, the reaction can be really damaging. No wonder SLS free toothpaste is nowadays strongly recommended by most doctors.

You may experience canker sores in your mouth and blame it on intake of too much coffee and strawberries. You may develop recurrent ulcers, and blame it on Vitamin deficiency. Your gums may bleed severely when you brush your teeth, and you think it’s because of poor gum structure. But rarely would you attribute these problems to toxic sulfates! The reason is your lack of knowledge about the dangers of these chemicals.

Another harmful impact of not using SLS free toothpaste, but opting for sulfate based toothpaste is, Gingivitis. Gingivitis creates certain kind of bacteria in your mouth which releases harmful toxins, producing irritation in your mouth. Toothache and gum inflammation are symptoms of this disease. You may also suffer from bad breath, which will refuse to go no matter what brand of mouth-fresheners you use and no matter how frequently you do so. If the impact of sulfates is more severe, you may develop a more serious ailment in your mouth-periodontitis.

SLES is worse than just being a toxic, corrosive chemical. Reports suggest that SLES is contaminated with dioxane (a proven carcinogen) and thus the possibility of it leading to cancer cannot be ruled out entirely. With so much at risk and so much to lose with the continuous use of sulfate based toothpaste, isn’t it best to shun them and rather use SLS free toothpaste? Maybe a trifle more expensive and a trifle less lather, but toothpaste without sulfate is definitely a far better bargain since safety and healthy teeth and gums are obviously your priority.
